Middle-of-the-night munchies? Here's your place. In addition to standard fast food Mexican fare for cheap, you can also get burgers, crinkle cut fries, and breaded deep fried macaroni and cheese. The mac and cheese bites may or may not be the reason for 4 stars vs. three stars.

Epic employee fail. So I went into Del Taco last night for some post UFC grub. The woman in front of me put in her order. After she was done, the kid taking her order randomly asked "how old are you?" The woman responded "older than you." Then the kid persisted, "yeah, but how old are you?" To which the woman responded "I don't want to tell you". The Del Taco kid was actually annoyed by this and said "fine!" The other employees either didn't understand English or seemed to think this was normal behavior. He then looked at me and asked "how's it going, man?" I then picked my jaw up off of the floor and walked out. I'm not sure if it was the awe of the moment or the 3 steins of hefeweizen on an empty stomach, but it wasn't until several minutes later that I realized I had missed the chance to give that little punk ass a lesson in fast food etiquette. I doubt I'll ever return to this particular Del Taco.

It's a chain and there's nothing magnificent here. However their drive through is open 24 hours, so that's a reason to come here...if you want to wait in line for 30 minutes while people fight over who was first in line...I, I was first in line I tell you!

For cheap late night eats there is nothing better than Del Taco. While some may prefer the breakfast fare served at all night diners like Denny's, its all about the tacos for me. Del Taco never fails to satisfy my late night munchies.

I will always love coming to here for my late night fix of cheap grub. You will never be able to beat the price for a late night chain of fast food. I will always love coming here for taco Tuesday. You get three tacos for a dollar. Always a wise choice especially when feeding a lot of people for cheap. I have found the quality of food is way better then the other chains as well.

This place is awesome for Late night breakfast. Their breakfast hours are from 11p-11a try the Big fat breakfast taco it has Jalapeno bacon which is super delicious. I also love their cheap classic taco and the chicken soft taco. This is a great place to eat a lot for under $10 for a couple

I love good food and I love low prices. This place has it covered. Del Taco uses no lard and is the freshest Mexican fast food around. I love to get the green sauce on everything I order! What a great deal!

I love this place and have never been unhappy with the food and have only rarely had bad service and only from the same two people so my Designated Dining Companion and I know to beware. The french fries are some of, of not the, best crinkle cuts I have had. Special orders, which my DDC and I often have as we don't like dyed orange cheese so generally substitute jack, rarely have a problem. And the hot sauce packets are surprisingly good, albeit tiny and terribly wasteful (some locations have hot sauce pumpers but not this one). My biggest complaint has always been the fountain machine which only had one non-soda option and that was vile, chemically sweeten "light" lemonade (sugar beats cancer every time!). Now, while they still inexplicably serve that poison, they now have several new options in new machine.

Cheapest place around on Tuesday night 3 tacos for a buck. Now have 50th anniversary coupons with the roll back items the orange shake it pretty good. Service and cleanliness still need improvement at this location. Downtown no problems. Adding onions and cilantro really help spice things up. Fill out the survey and save more. The jacked up tostada with the green sauce and add onions a great addition.

As Rob "Life-of-the-Party" F. says, "Taco Tuedays! Need I say more?" To respond to Rob's query, "Yes, I'd wish to say more..." Rob you are spot on when it comes to the first and foremost reason to eat at this establishment. There aren't many reasons beyond that unless one has a hankering for a churro or for some reason prefers their fries crinkle-cut. A side reason however, is to watch the interesting parade of strange and peculiar people who frequent this eatery on a Tuesday night (because why would you be there any other night?). A few of my most notable favorites are: Fat kid/young adult eating a hamburger whilst entering this particular Del Taco before ordering and eating more fast food. Time traveling "Living in the '90s" dude. It was in the dead of winter and he still was wearing his denim Girbaud shorts like it wasn't cold and they weren't outa style. Also, he wears his sunglasses at night. The two creepy "To Catch a Predator" dudes meeting up post-booking to throw back horchatas and trade notes on how to foil that crafty Chris Hansen the next time he pops up outa no where. Hippy and his dog in the drive-thru having to do a 20-point turn to get their VW Bus out of the lot 'cause the line is too long. "Baad vibes, maaaaan. These tacoos have baaad mojambo maaaan! Rufus, let's literally blow this taco staaand, maaaan." Trust me, go set up shop one Tuesday evening and watch the freak show come to you as you enjoy an endless taco supply the quality of which you haven't experienced since your elementary school cafeteria,

Far too often after leaving a a fast food joint with a sandwich/fries/soda for two - I look back at my change and am am crestfallen that I chose the path of least resistance. I've never had that happen at Del Taco. In fact I am usually utterly perplexed at the minuscule nature of my receipt. The food is what it is. Theres no nopales cactus or habanero mango salsa infused with dove tears. Its simple fast food Tex-Mex and its fast, its cheap its open 24 hours and well sometimes, that just what you need. Note: the drive through is 24 hours, but for walk ins, if memory serves they lock the doors around 9-10PM.

Every time I eat here, which isn't often, i get sick. I will never eat here again! Drive thru is always long and the guy who takes the orders is super slow and he always forgets something in the order but the line is so long, you almost always just leave without your full order, ballicks!

Guilty pleasure? Sort of. Their meat in the tacos used to be more like regular ground beef like you'd make at home but over the decade, years or whatever the meat had become a little more suspect and seasoned more in the taco bell vein. But its not Taco Bell. Thank the lawd it is not Taco Bell. The fish tacos have been a consistent and convenient love. Their tacos are cheap on taco tuesday and everything is really affordable. Its still fast food but it doesnt taste terrible. The staff at this location has always been friendly. The shrimp tacos have been great too. Its fantastic food for people living on a budget too. It may not be the healthiest thing but it gets the job done. I LOVE the new fish and guac tacos. They are so good. The "epic burritos" are kind of weird and too much stuffed with french fries so its not really my favorite kinda burrito. Stick to the fish tacos, chicken tacos and regular beef tacos and you're set. One of the only fast food places i regular at.

Love the big fat steak tacos -now flatbread tacos! This is a staple for my wife and I when we need a quick bite. Always good service. Consistently well prepared (for fast food). And they've got a perfect Cherry Coke blend! Cause seriously - If I wanted flat soda I'd let it sit on my counter for 30 mins. Just sayin'

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
